Washington D.C. – Former Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs, Ambassador John R. Bolton, announced the John Bolton PAC’s endorsement of Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida’s Twenty-Seventh District. Additionally, the John Bolton PAC will make a contribution of $5,000 to her campaign.
Statement by Ambassador John Bolton:
“Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar’s work on the House Foreign Affairs Committee has promoted American independence, democracy, and strength throughout the world. I appreciate her dedication to growing U.S. and Latin America relations, while countering influences from socialist regimes like Venezuela. Rep. Salazar has done a fantastic job navigating and educating voters on our relationship with Cuba. She thoroughly understands how important our fight against communism is, as her parents immigrated to the U.S. after fleeing Cuba when Fidel Castro rose to power. I look forward to seeing her continued success in Washington.”
